Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the refrigerated pie crusts on a lightly floured surface, and roll out as needed.
  3. Cut out circles, about 4 inches in diameter, using a cookie cutter or glass.
  4. Place a tablespoon of cherry pie filling in the center of each pie crust circle.
  5. Fold the crust over the filling to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Beat the egg to create an egg wash, and brush it over the tops of each pie bomb.
  7. Sprinkle a light dusting of sugar on top for added sweetness.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
