Sweet Caramelized Peaches

A delightful dessert highlighting juicy, caramelized peaches, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe peaches
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 Tbsp rolled oats
  • 3 Tbsp oat flour
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash the peaches thoroughly. Cut them in half and remove the pit.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until bubbly.
  3. Sprinkle in the brown sugar and stir gently until dissolved.
  4. Place the peach halves or wedges cut-side down in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Flip them over and add the vanilla extract and cinnamon, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Combine the rolled oats, oat flour, and an optional pinch of cinnamon. Mix with melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the peaches and toast for an additional minute.
  8. Serve warm topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For presentation, drizzle remaining caramel sauce over the top. You can also add a sprig of fresh mint for garnish.
