Fig Jam Goat Cheese Dip

A creamy and tangy dip with the perfect blend of fig jam and goat cheese, topped with crunchy pistachios.

  • ⅓ cup fig preserves or fig jam
  • 2 tsp honey (or hot honey, or maple syrup)
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup roasted shelled pistachios, chopped
  • ½ tsp flaky Maldon sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep your space: Start by clearing off your countertop and gathering all your ingredients.
  2. Mix the goat cheese: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the soft goat cheese and blend until creamy.
  3. Add fig preserves: Gently fold in the fig preserves or fig jam with a spatula.
  4. Incorporate sweetness: Drizzle in the honey and extra virgin olive oil, then fold until well combined.
  5. Season: Add flaky Maldon sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  6. Add pistachios: Incorporate chopped roasted pistachios, reserving some for garnish.
  7. Chill: Let the dip chill in the fridge for at least half an hour.
  8. Serve: Transfer the dip to a bowl, garnish with reserved pistachios and honey, and enjoy!

Notes

This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge. Serve with a variety of dippers like crackers, crostini, or fresh vegetables for a delightful experience.
