Cherry Cheesecake Dump Cake

A delightful and easy-to-make dessert featuring creamy cheesecake, tart cherries, and a golden cake topping.

  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your baking dish by greasing it with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Blend cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  5. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the cherry filling.
  6. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix.
  8. Add pecans and sprinkle cinnamon over everything.
  9. Bake for about 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  10. Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream and a cherry on top for an elegant touch.
