Mixed Berry Mini Trifles

Delightful mini trifles layered with strawberries, blueberries, and a creamy filling, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 pound (454 grams) strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce / 226-gram) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 (3-ounce / 85-gram) package ladyfingers, broken into pieces
  • 1 pint (551 ml) blueberries
  • 6 small glasses or jars

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries: Hull and slice the strawberries, mix with sugar, and set aside to macerate.
  2. Whip up the cream cheese filling by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  3. Prepare your glasses or jars for assembly.
  4. Assemble the trifles: Layer cream cheese filling, ladyfinger pieces, and macerated strawberries in each glass.
  5. Chill the assembled trifles in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour before serving.

Notes

You can substitute ladyfingers with sponge cake and mix berries as desired. Feel free to garnish with whipped cream or mint before serving.
