Ultimate Homemade Pizza Pockets

Delightful homemade pizza pockets filled with mozzarella, pepperoni, and marinara. Perfect for snacks or meals.

  • 1 lb Pizza Dough (450g)
  • 1 large Egg (50g)
  • 1 tbsp Water (15ml)
  • 1.5 cups Low-Moisture Whole Milk Mozzarella Cheese (170g)
  • 0.5 cup Thick Marinara Sauce (120ml)
  • 3 oz Sliced Pepperoni (85g)
  • 1 tsp Dried Green Oregano Flakes (2g)
  • 1 tsp Coarse Salt (5g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll the pizza dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into even squares, about 4×4 inches.
  4. Add a handful of mozzarella cheese, a tablespoon of marinara sauce, and a few slices of pepperoni in the center of each square.
  5. Season with oregano and a pinch of salt.
  6. Fold one side of the square over the filling and press down to seal.
  7. Brush the tops with the egg wash (egg mixed with water).
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before serving with extra marinara for dipping.
