Golden, Crispy Cheeseburger Pockets

A hand-held version of the classic cheeseburger, these crispy pockets are filled with savory beef and melty cheese, perfect for casual dining or gatherings.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up and cooking for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, stirring well.
  4. Drain off excess grease once the beef is cooked.
  5. Stir in ketchup and mustard into the beef mixture.
  6. Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheese until melted.
  7. Open and unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface.
  8. Assemble the pockets by placing a spoonful of beef mixture on each triangle of dough and sealing the edges.
  9. Arrange filled pockets on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Ensure to press edges firmly to seal the pockets. Adjust seasoning to your taste with smoked paprika if desired.
