Easy Apple Cobbler

A warm dessert with buttery apples under a golden crust, perfect for family gatherings.

  • 4 cups sliced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the apples by mixing them with 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
  3. Make the batter by combining flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt, then mixing in milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Arrange the apple mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the batter over it.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown.
  6. Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce for an extra treat.
