Graveyard Taco Dip

A delightful and spooky taco dip, perfect for gatherings with friends and family. Layers of cream cheese, taco meat, lettuce, and olives create a crowd-pleasing treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 lb Ground Beef (fully cooked and seasoned)
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 1 cup Lettuce (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup Olives (sliced)
  • Tortilla Chips (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Taco Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat, then sprinkle the taco seasoning. Add a splash of water and stir well. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes until the flavors meld.
  2. Mix the Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. If using, blend in some sour cream for extra creaminess.
  3. Layer the Dip: In your serving dish, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly across the bottom, layer the seasoned taco meat on top, then add the lettuce, and finish with olives.
  4. Chill and Serve: Cover the dip with plastic wrap and chill for at least an hour, then serve with tortilla chips for dipping!

Notes

For a spooky effect, use a spatula to create a ‘graveyard’ effect in the layers. You can make this dip a day in advance for best results.
