Ingredients
Scale
6 large Eggs
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Mustard (Dijon or yellow)
Salt and Pepper to taste
4–6 pitted Black Olives
Paprika or Chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Boil the eggs by placing them in a pot covered with cold water. Bring to a boil, cover, and turn off the heat, letting sit for 10-12 minutes.
Cool the eggs in ice water for 5-10 minutes to stop cooking and make peeling easier.
Prepare the filling by peeling the eggs, slicing them in half, and scooping out the yolks into a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper, then mash until smooth.
Fill each egg white with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag for a neat finish.
Create the spiders using the black olives: cut one olive half for the body and slice the remaining half for legs. Place on top of filled eggs.
Garnish with paprika or chives for added color and flavor.
Serve on a platter, ideally with themed decorations for Halloween.
