  • 2 cups Macaroni Pasta
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • Orange Food Coloring (optional)

  5. Season and Color: Mix in salt, pepper, nutmeg, and optional orange food coloring.
  6. Combine Sauce and Macaroni: Stir cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce, adjusting the consistency with reserved pasta water.
  7. Prepare for Baking: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), transfer mac and cheese to a greased baking dish, and top with breadcrumbs or pumpkin seeds.
  8. Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
