Garlic Butter Steak & Cheddar Potato Bake

A comforting and hearty meal combining succulent steak with cheesy, buttery potatoes, perfect for any occasion.

  • 23 steaks (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 45 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 4 tablespoons garlic butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the potatoes in a greased baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add melted garlic butter over the layered potatoes.
  4. Bake the potatoes covered with foil for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Prepare the steaks by seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Sear the steaks in a hot skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  7. Finishing touches: Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Add cheese on top of the potatoes and return to the oven for 10-15 minutes.
  9. Slice the steaks against the grain into strips.
  10. Assemble the dish with potatoes and steak, garnished with herbs.
