Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast: In a small bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Create a well in the center and pour in the activated yeast mixture and olive oil.
  3. Combine and knead the dough: Using a wooden spoon or your hands, mix the ingredients until they start to come together. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes.
