Air Fryer Kohlrabi Fries

A deliciously crispy treat made with kohlrabi, perfect for a healthy alternative to traditional fries.

  • 2 lbs. 4 ounces kohlrabi
  • 1 tablespoon regular olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the kohlrabi: Cut the top off the kohlrabi, peel the skin, and cut into 1/2-inch strips.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  3. Coat the kohlrabi strips with olive oil in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Season the kohlrabi with salt, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, and pepper, tossing to coat.
  5. Air Fry the kohlrabi strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
