Crack Chicken Sliders

A comforting and creamy chicken slider recipe featuring smoky bacon, ranch seasoning, and cheese, perfect for gatherings.

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Slider buns
  • Sliced green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken: Place 2 lbs of chicken breasts in a slow cooker or instant pot. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, or pressure cook for 15 minutes in the instant pot.
  2. Shred the chicken: Once cooked, shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks or a hand mixer.
  3. Mix in the good stuff: Add 1 packet of ranch seasoning and 8 oz of cream cheese to the shredded chicken while it’s warm, mixing until fully combined.
  4. Add cheddar and bacon: Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup of crumbled bacon, mixing until well combined.
  5. Prepare the buns: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and slice your slider buns in half.
  6. Assemble the sliders: Spoon the creamy chicken mixture onto the bottom half of each slider bun, then replace the tops.
  7. Bake: Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle sliced green onions on top before serving.

Notes

These sliders are great for meal prep and can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen before baking.
