Cherry Pie Bombs

Delicious handheld treats filled with sweet cherry goodness and wrapped in flaky pie crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the refrigerated pie crusts on a lightly floured surface and cut out circles.
  3. Fill each pie crust circle with a tablespoon of cherry pie filling.
  4. Create a half-moon shape with the crust, sealing the edges.
  5. Beat the egg in a small bowl to make your egg wash and brush it on the tops of the pie bombs.
  6. Sprinkle a light dusting of sugar over the tops.
  7. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
