Boozy Cherry Bombs

Indulge in these delightful Boozy Cherry Bombs, perfect for gatherings! Juicy cherries soaked in rum, dipped in white chocolate, and rolled in blue sanding sugar make for a fun, adult treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 Large Jars of Maraschino Cherries (with Stems, 3033 count)
  • 1 Package of Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • 1/2 Cup of Malibu Rum
  • Bright Blue Sanding Sugar

Instructions

  1. Prep the cherries by carefully opening the jars and draining them.
  2. Soak the cherries in Malibu rum for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Melt the white chocolate melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Dip each soaked cherry into the melted chocolate and let excess drip off.
  5. Sprinkle the dipped cherries with bright blue sanding sugar while the chocolate is still wet.
  6. Set the cherries in the fridge for about 30 minutes until the chocolate is fully set.
  7. Serve chilled, ideally arranged in a colorful bowl or mason jars.

Notes

For a different taste, try dark or milk chocolate instead of white, and experiment with flavored liqueurs for soaking.
