Cherry Pie Bubble Up Dessert

A cozy classic dessert featuring fluffy biscuits soaked in luscious cherry filling, spiced with cinnamon and almond.

  • 16.3 oz Refrigerated Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
  • 21 oz Cherry Pie Filling (can)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. almond extract (divided)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp. milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Open the refrigerated biscuit dough and separate each biscuit into quarters.
  3. Add the cherry pie filling to the bowl with the biscuit pieces and gently fold together.
  4. Sprinkle in the cinnamon and half of the almond extract, folding gently.
  5. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the cherry-biscuit mixture into it, spreading evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Combine powdered sugar, milk, and remaining almond extract in a small bowl to make the glaze.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over the warm dessert and serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top.
