Homemade Grape Sorbet

A juicy and refreshing homemade grape sorbet that captures the essence of autumn with every spoonful.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 600g seedless black or red grapes (washed and stems removed)
  • 120g caster sugar (or 100g honey/maple syrup for natural sweetness)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 100ml water

Instructions

  1. Prepare your grapes by rinsing them thoroughly under cool water and removing stems.
  2. Blend the washed grapes, caster sugar (or chosen sweetener), lemon juice, and water in a blender until smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother sorbet, discarding the solids.
  4. Freeze the mixture in a shallow dish or airtight container for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  5. Blend again if needed after freezing to achieve a creamy texture before serving.

Notes

Garnish with fresh mint leaves or lemon zest for added flavor and color. Experiment with different fruit combinations for unique variations.
