Apple Butter Cheesecake

A creamy cheesecake infused with the warm flavors of apple butter, perfect for cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup apple butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes until slightly golden. Allow it to cool.
  2. Make the filling: Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then add the powdered sugar and mix until combined. Add the vanilla extract and mix again.
  3. Whip the cream: In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Incorporate the apple butter: Fold in the apple butter until evenly distributed for a marbled effect.
  5. Assemble the cheesecake: Pour the mixture over the cooled crust and smooth the top. Swirl with a toothpick if desired.
  6. Chill the cheesecake: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, or overnight if possible.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Remove the springform pan sides, slice the cheesecake, and serve with a dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of apple butter on top.

Notes

For innovative variations, consider swapping apple butter for pumpkin puree, adding a chocolate drizzle, or making it dairy-free.
